When planning your wedding, one of the common questions I receive is “what month is best to plan a beach wedding?”

I wish there was a calendar with the best wedding dates, but unfortunately such a thing doesn’t exist. Summer months are very popular. Trying to tie the knot, have a vacation with your family and enjoy the warm gulf waters is the best combination.

I personally love the fall months: not so many tourists, cooler sunsets and not so many rainy days. When deciding what day to go with, being flexible will help. Have few extra days just in case you’ll need to reschedule due to weather conditions. The good thing is that even if it rains, it’s usually for short periods of time. It can rain for 30 minutes and then it could be the most perfect and beautiful sunset.
